On 21 – 22 January 1945, having returned to Warsaw, I was walking along Marszałkowska Street near Anc’s Pharmacy. I noticed, looking from the level of Marszałkowska Street, a few dozen human remains in the burnt-out and caved-in cellars. These were torsos, arms, and legs – all lying separately. Some of the bodies were partially clothed. I did not see any traces of burning. Next, while passing along the same route in February 1945, I saw these remains being taken from the pharmacy by some people (I do not know by whom) and buried in graves in Aleja Piłsudskiego.

The report was read out.
