What do the mass graves tell us?
The mass graves tell us that someone is buried in them. We can find them in various parts of Poland. When I pass by such a cemetery, which is situated near the Kielce–Radom road (in the village of Dąbrowa), I think we should take care of these graves because the defenders of our homeland are buried in them. A soldier who died on the battlefield performed his duty. But the mass graves are the final resting place of civilian soldiers, those who didn’t wear a uniform but who also fulfilled their duty to the country. They would rather die than renounce their homeland and cooperate with the Germans.
