My most memorable moment from the occupation
My memorable moment from the occupation was the escape of the Germans from Poland. During this escape, the Germans destroyed railroad tracks, telegraph poles, bridges and station buildings. Planes flew day and night, illuminating the roads, SuchedniĆ³w and the nearby villages. Then they dropped bombs. People ran to the shelters, screaming. German troops escaped by various routes: forest and field paths as well as highways. Soviet planes were bombing the Germans during their escape. This was my favorite part and I remember it well.
