On 12 November 1943, at Jagiellońska Street, close to the corner with Kępna Street, there was an execution of Polish people by the wall of a slaughterhouse.
On that day at 8.00 a.m. I saw that a gendarmerie commander, whose name I don’t know but whom I knew by sight, came to the corner of Kępna Street and Jagiellońska Street and was inspecting the territory. At 11.00 a.m. I was at Targowa Street near no. 45, when the gendarmerie came and surrounded Kępna Street and Jagiellońska Street. As I could not go home, I went to a townhouse at Targowa Street 45 and I waited there. I heard four volleys of shots then. It was already after noon when they opened access to Kępna Street. The gendarmerie was already gone then, and there were bloodstains on the pavement by the wall of the slaughterhouse, partially cleaned with the hoses of the fire service.
I learned from my neighbors that there was an execution of over 30 Polish people. However, as I have already emphasized, I don’t know any details, as at that time I was at Targowa Street.
The report was read out.
