On 17 October 1947, in Końskie, lawyer Stanisław Dębniak, member of the District Commission for the Investigation of German Crimes, with its headquarters in Końskie, heard the person named below as an unsworn witness. Having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations and of the wording of Article 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the witness testified as follows:

During the war, my mother ran a restaurant in Końskie at 3 Maja Street 56. On 28 March 1943, my family (so my mother Maria Świerczyńska, sister Genowefa Świerczyńska, and brothers Jerzy, Wacław, Zdzisław and Stanisław Świerczyński), as well as the servant Florentyna Szidor; Władysław Szidor, who was at the restaurant as a guest; chef Henryk Telecki and his wife Wiesława Telecka; and employee Marianna Kocińska, were [all] arrested by the Germans. I was not present at the time and, as a result, I avoided being arrested. They were commanded by the Oberleutnant [first lieutenant] of the military police in Końskie, Kriegsbaum, [and] it was carried out by the penal expedition of the German military police, which was stationed in the elementary school next to the hospital in Końskie. The Germans accused us of having contacts with the partisans. I heard that they murdered my entire family and arrested others without trial in a school next to the hospital, which was confirmed by the exhumation of corpses in 1945. I do not know anything more about this case.

The witness additionally testifies: the German, Rotke, who was deported to Piotrków by the Public Security Office in Końskie, could reveal the names and surnames of the military policemen who are guilty of murdering my family.
