On 17 October 1947, with the participation of reporter R. Muszyńska, Judge W. Kuryłowicz of the Regional Court in Końskie, a member of the Końskie Branch of the Radom District Commission for [the Investigation of] German Crimes, interviewed the person named below as an unsworn witness. Having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations and of the wording of Article 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the witness testified as follows:

On 9 November 1944, my husband Bronisław Pytlas was shot by auxiliary military units accompanying the German troops, composed of former Soviet prisoners. He was captured at night as a partisan and shot at the road to Radoszyce, near Brody; his body was buried in Końskie. I know this from what my children told me, as I was in the Auschwitz camp at that time. He was badly beaten before being shot.
