As a prisoner of the concentration camp in Birkenau, I worked in a food warehouse, attending to two camps: for men and for women. Rottenführer Medefind became assistant to the head of the food warehouse in June 1942. As such, he dealt with prisoners when they were collecting food rations. I never saw Medefind hit a prisoner. I worked under his supervision until 10 March 1943. I was then transported to the Hamburg-Neuengamme concentration camp. I have no knowledge of the crimes which Medefind committed against prisoners.
