The biography of Regina Kiełbowska, née Deryńska, murdered by the Gestapo.
Regina Kiełbowska, daughter of Józef and Maria, was born on 8 September 1920. Having graduated from school [in] 1938, she stayed with her parents until she got married. She was married during the war, in September 1940. She was arrested on 6 October 1942 and transported to Auschwitz on 10 November [1942], where she stayed until 24 March 1943.
She was feeling well in Auschwitz, she even looked well, until she found out that her husband had been hanged. [Then] she broke down terribly and took it very badly, so much the worse because she was pregnant. She died of typhoid fever.
