My son-in-law Bolesław Dłużewski, born on 15 July 1911, a railway cashier in Radom, was executed on 13 October 1942.

I wasn’t present at the execution, but when I learned that the Germans had hanged ten men by the Kielce road, including my son-in-law, I went to the execution site and saw for myself that my son-in-law was hanging from the gallows. I recognized him both by his hair and by his clothes. He had number 3 written on his back in chalk. He was hanging third in the row. I didn’t recognize any one of the other people executed there because I didn’t know them.

At 4.00 p.m. the bodies were loaded onto a car and taken in the direction of Firlej. I didn’t read the notice posted on the board set up next to the gallows. But, as I learned from those who had read it, it followed from it that the people executed by the Germans were "Polish bandits".

I don’t know the reasons for arresting and executing my son-in-law.

Having been shown a photograph of the people executed by the Kielce road in Radom, the witness testified as follows:

In this photograph my son-in-law Bolesław Dłużewski is hanging third from the right or
eighth from the left.
The report was read out.
