On 30 May 1947, Władysław Cypel appeared in the office of the police of the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration in Stuttgart, Western section no. 1002, camp no. 664, Reinsburgstrasse, and made the following declaration in lieu of an oath:

As a specialist, I was transferred from the concentration camp in Majdanek near Lublin to Radom, to a German printing house, which was located at Ringplatz. It printed announcements about death sentences carried out on Poles. I declare that each announcement bore the signature of SS- und Polizeiführer Böttcher.
We worked at night. We were always brought to our workplace by some Gestapo men. When I was woken up at night I knew immediately that some Poles would be executed. We received the text in German and, after translating it, we had to print it in Polish. Each time there were at least 30 surnames. Beside each surname was also information about the victim’s occupation and date of birth, and usually the word "communist". We had to perform such a task every 10–15 days. Many thousands of Poles were executed on Böttcher’s orders.
I declare, in lieu of an oath, that the above is true to facts. I am aware of the criminal liability for making false declarations. I am ready to appear before a court as a witness.
