I hereby testify that on 7 April 1944, the Germans took Stanisław Tomaszewski, Antoni Strzębała and Wiktor Puzio, and executed them in Zwoleń, district of Kozienice. Once the Germans were driven out of Poland, their bodies were exhumed and reinterred at the cemetery in Kozienice. On 27 October 1944, the Germans executed the following residents of the village of Augustów in the park of the state landholding: Jan Rogalski, Wacław Rogalski, and Jan Drożdż. They also shot dead Władysław Baran (in Pionki), Jan Glimasiński (in Augustów), and Franciszek Fila (in Cecylówka, commune of Brzdza, district of Kozienice), whereas the body of the latter continues to lie in a field. Another of their victims was Władysław Góra, executed in Augustów; his body has been interred at the cemetery in Kozienice. Bronisław Fila was murdered in Radom, but I don’t know where his body is buried. Kazimierz Paduch was also shot dead in Radom.
