On the 27th day of the month of May 1943, during the German occupation, the Germans surrounded my settlement, that is Samwodzie, and detained and subsequently shot dead a number of my good friends: 1) Bronisław Szymański, 2) Stanisław Amurek, 3) Władysław Piskór, 4) Piotr Nowak, 5) Jan Nowak, and 6) Bolesław Szode. All of the aforementioned resided in the settlement of Samwodzie, commune of Brzeźnica, district of Kozienice. Following their arrest, they were taken to Kozienice and executed there. Their bodies were buried in the park grounds of a former landed estate. I confirm the veracity of the above testimony, concerning the execution of my friends, with my own handwritten signature.
