Having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations and of the wording of Article 140 of the Penal Code, the witness testified as follows:

On 15 March 1943, when I was going to work with Franciszek Mokwiński and Marian Kurabiowski, who worked with me at the railway in Białaczów, some gendarmes stopped us on a railway track and took us to Skronina to the flat of Serwatka; we were ordered to lie down on the ground in front of the flat. Several people were already lying there. People were taken from there in twos and led into the flat, where they were then shot. When my turn came, I showed the gendarmes the addresses of my children, who had been taken for forced labor to Germany. I was released on these grounds. Then Marian Kurabiowski and Franciszek Mokwiński were taken to the flat and executed.

Later, when they had executed all their victims, that is eighteen people, the gendarmes set the flat on fire and burned everyone. When I left with the Germans – I was ordered to go with them – I heard the explosions of grenades.

I witnessed how they murdered these people in a bestial way, shooting everyone they had led into the flat. After the burning I saw charred bodies, completely unrecognizable. The murder was perpetrated by the gendarmes and the Gestapo.

This is everything that I know in the case.

At this the report was concluded, read out and signed.
