As regards the present case, I | am aware of the following facts: In 1942, I do not remember |
the day or the month, two Jews were executed: Wolf Blumstein and Cukier, both residents of Słupia Nowa, in the field belonging to the Gajewski sisters, located right next to the “Staszic” coal mine. Blumstein was shot dead by Werkschutz Karbownik, while Cukier was murdered by one Schock, the Schutzpolizei commandant. The victims were accused of having exchanged carbide for bread. The execution was not a retaliatory measure – just a prank organized by the German killers. Cukier and Blumstein were buried right where they had been executed, in the field of the Gajewski sisters.
At this point the report was brought to a close and read out before being signed by the witness.
