26 November 1949. Władysław Słowiński, a functionary of the Citizens’ Militia Station in Słupia Nowa, Kielce district, interviewed the person named below as a witness. Having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations and of the wording of Article 140 of the Penal Code, the witness testified as follows:

I was among the other captives. In the afternoon of 29 July gendarmes took me from my home. I joined a great number of other people who were already standing in the square. Having herded a lot of people together, the Germans told them to lie face downwards. Twelve people were picked out of the whole group and taken aside. They were first ordered to dig a pit and then were shot to death. Along with a great number of other people I was taken to prison. After some time we were released home.
