Kielce, 8 March 1948. Stefan Młodawski from the Criminal Investigation Section of the Citizens’ Militia Station in Kielce, on the instruction of the Prosecutor from the District Court in Kielce, with the participation of court reporter Stanisław Kostera, heard the person named below as a witness. Having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations and of the wording of Article 140 of the Penal Code, the witness testified as follows:

I know that having entered Kielce, the Germans set up a hospital only for the Germans and which was operational until 1940. Then the German command, headed by a General, was quartered in the Center; they stayed there until the capitulation of Germany.
I don’t know the surnames of any of the Germans.
There wasn’t any camp in the Cultural Center. Until the Jewish Ghetto was established, the Germans would bring Jews to the Center for work. Later the work was performed by the Poles who lived in town and received payment for their work.
