In 1943 I was arrested by the Gestapo. Jan Bulrski, Antoni Miernik, Stanisław Podolski were arrested on the same day and we were all put in the same cell. After ten days, at night, Miernik and Podolski were taken by the Gestapo for "examination." They returned after a few hours, severely beaten.
On 24 October 1943 at 10.00 a.m. the Gestapo-men arrived in cars and took them away. Led out of their cell, they were tied up in the corridor and driven away in a car.
I learned from new prisoners that Bularski, Podolski and Miernik had been executed in Słowik for their clandestine activities.
At this point the report was concluded, read out and signed.
